    Having finished the first part of my thesis, I finally have free time to give a free translation course from Arabic into English for our active members.

    If interested, let me know in a reply. I am restricting this course to the first two members who express interest.

    هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى إدراك مديري المدارس الأساسية الخاصة لأهمية تكنولوجيا التعليم وعلاقته بمستوى توظيف المعلمين لهذه التكنولوجيا من وجهة نظر المعلمين في محافظة العاصمة عمان. حيث لاحظت الباحثة أن مدير المدرسة الذي يملك المهارات والكفايات يستطيع أن يف  عل التكنولوجيا داخل المدرسة بشكل يخدم العملية التعليمية ويحسن من توظيف المعلمين لها. ويؤمل أن تساهم هذه الدراسة في توسيع مدارك مديري المدارس الأساسية الخاصة ووعيهم بأهمية توظيف التكنولوجيا في عملية التعليم والتعلم والإسهام في رفع كفاءة مديري المدارس بالتعامل مع التكنولوجيا الموجودة لديهم. ولتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة تم تطوير استبانتين تم التأكد من صدقهما وثباتهما، حيث ركزت الاستبانة الأولى على قياس مدى إدراك مديري المدارس لأهمية استخدام تكنولوجيا التعليم في حين ركزت الاستبانة الثانية على قياس مدى توظيف المعلمين للتكنولوجيا من وجهة نظر المعلمين.حيث استخدم أسلوب المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الإرتباطي لمناسبته لهذه الدراسة. ل تكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 331 ) معلما ومعلمة من المرحلة الأساسية للمدارس الخاصة في عمان باستخدام أسلوب العينة الطبقية العشوائية. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج منها: أن مستوى إدراك مديري المدارس الأساسية لأهمية تكنولوجيا الّتعليم من وجهة نظر المعلمين كان متوسطا.و أن مستوى توظيف المعلمين لتكنولوجيا الّتعليم من وجهة نظرهم كان متوسطا.ولوحظ بين مستوى إدراك (α≤ وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية موجبة عند مستوى ( 0.05 مديري المدارس الأساسية الخاصة بأهمية تكنولوجيا الّتعليم ومستوى توظيف المعلمين لهذه التكنولوجيا من وجهة نظرهم.و إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى لمستوى إدراك مديري المدارس الأساسية لأهمية تكنولوجيا الّتعليم من وجهة نظر (α≤0.05) المعلمين تبعا لمتغير الجنس ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي لصالح أصحاب الدراسات العليا وعدم فروق لمتغير الخبرة. الكلمات المفتاحية: تكنولوجيا التعليم ، توظيف التكنولوجيا في التعليم الإدارة المدرسية إدارك مديري المدارس للتكنولوجيا.

    Guest You can follow this course, though you cannot participate at the moment due to the large number of trainees already registered. This is anyway a three-lesson course. We will hold other courses by mid-November.

          Here is my translation:

          This study aimed to find out the private basic school principals’ perception level of the importance of educational technology and its relation to the level of teachers' use of this technology from their perspective in the capital governorate of Amman. The researcher noted that a principal who has the skills and competencies can facilitate the use of technology within the school in a way that serves the educational process and improve the teachers’ use of this technology. It is hoped that this study will contribute to broadening the private basic school principals’ perception and awareness of the importance of using technology in the teaching and learning process and raising the efficiency of principals in dealing with the existing technology. To achieve the objectives of this study, two surveys were developed and verified. The first survey focused on measuring the principals’ perception of the importance of using educational technology while the second survey focused on measuring the teachers’ use of technology from their perspective. The study used a descriptive-analytical method. The sample of the study consisted of (331) male and female teachers from the basic education of the private schools in Amman using the stratified random sample method. The study concluded to a number of results, including the level of principals' perception of the importance of educational technology from the teachers' Perspective was average and the level of teachers' use of educational technology from their perspective was also average. Furthermore, It was noted that there is a statistically significant positive relationship at the level of (α≤) between the private basic school principals’ perception level of the importance of educational technology and the level of teachers’ use of this technology from their perspective. It was also noted there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) for the private basic school principals’ perception level of the importance of educational technology from the teacher’s perspective according to gender variable. In addition, there are statistically significant differences according to the educational qualification variable in favor of those who have postgraduate studies and there are no differences in the experience variable.           This study has aimed at understanding how far the headmasters of private primary schools realize the importance of education technology, and its relation to the extent of applying this technology by teachers from their perspectives in Amman governorate. For, the researcher has noticed that skillful masters can apply technology effectively for the sake of the educational process. It’s also predicted that this study will help broaden their thoughts and awareness of the significance of using this technology in education and learning and raising the schools heads efficiency through exploiting the existed technology.

          Moreover, to achieve the study objectives, two questionnaires checked to be true have been drawn up. The first one concentrated on measuring how far the headmasters realize the importance of education technology, where the other one focused on the extent of applying this technology by teachers from their perspective. The descriptive analytical approach has been the appropriate one for this study.

          The survey sample consisted of 331 male and female teachers of private primary schools in Amman chosen by randomized sampling technique. The study found a number of results including:
          • The headmasters realization of the importance of education technology has been intermediate, and so has been the extent of applying this technology by teachers from their perspective
          • It's also noted there is a statistically significant positive relation at (a<=0.05) between the level of private primary schools' principals' perception of education technology significance and applying this technology by teachers from their perspective.
          • There are no statistically significant differences at (a<=0.05) of the level of private primary schools' principals' perception of education technology significance from the teachers perspective according to gender.
          • There are statistically significant differences according to academic qualifications for the sake of postgraduate students, and there are no differences according to experience.
          • The key words: education technology, applying technology in education, school management, and the headmasters' perception of technology.

          المقدمة: نعيش اليوم في عصر المعلوماتية الذي يتميز بالتطورات والتغيرات السريعة الناجمة عن التقدم العلمي والتقني الذي شهده العالم في العقد الأخير من القرن العشرين وبداية القرن الحادي والعشرين والتي كان من أبرزها تطور استخدام الحاسب الآلي وتقنية المعلومات والاتصالات التي انعكست على مختلف المجالات بالتقدم ولاسيما جانب ال ربية والتعليم خصوصاً وأن هذا العصر يتسم بالتميز والتقدم العلم والثقافي والتكنولوجي وسرعة الاتصال والتوسع في استخدام التقنيات الحديثة في التعليم لتحقيق الأهداف التربوية ذات الكفاءة والفاعلية لمجابهة التغيرات المتسارعة في هذا العصر. ومما لاشك فيه أن ثورة المعلومات وتكنولوجيا التعليم المتزايدة في عصرنا الحـالي تـشكل تحـدياً للتربويين والقائمين على العملية التعليمية في ظل تلك التطورات مما يستوجب على كـل مجتمـع يريـد تطوير وتحسين هذه العملية اللحاق بالعصر المعلوماتي. قد أشار روفائيل ويوسف (٢٠٠١ : ٢٠١ (بأن الح اسب الآلي دخل إلى جميع نواحي حياتـ نا تقوم ول العالم المتحضر باستخدام الحاسب بمستوياته المختلفة في جميع مراحل التعليم تبعـاً لقـدرات التلاميذ فعلينا أن نعلم طلابنا طالباتنا كيفية الحصول على المعلومة إدخال التكنولوجيا فـي العمليـة التعليمية حيث اهتمت النظم التربوية في مجتمعات المعلومات بإعداد الأفراد إعـداداً يـؤهلهم لاسـتخدام الكمبيوتر بشكل جيد ذلك بسبب التقنيات التي يتميز بها. وضح الهميلي (٢٠٠٥ : ١٣ (أن استخدام الحاسب الآلي أصبح جزء يتجزأ ومعياراً مهمـاً لقياس التقدم في المجتمعات المعاصرة لأن هذه التقنية أخذت في الانتشار لتغطي جميع جوانب الح ياة خاصة بعد ظهور الإنترنت كنتاج لهذه التقنية المتطورة وما نشأ عنها من ثورة معلوماتية جعلـت مـن استخدام الحاسب الآلي تقنياته مهارة لازمة لمواكبة التقدم والانتقال من المحدودية إلى اللامحدودية فـي استخدام الحاسب بجميع تقنياته الحديثة بسبب ظهور الشبكة المعلوماتية العالمية والتـي تمخـض عنهـا اتجاهات جديدة في التعليم.

          The researcher remarked that the school principal who has the skills can interact with the technology within the school in serving the educational process and enhancing its application by the teachers .this study hoped to contribute in expanding the perception of the private basic school principals’ and aware them of the importance of the application of technology in teaching and learning process and contributing in rise the efficiency of the school principals’ by dealing with the exist technology. To achieve the goals of this study, two questionnaires were developed that they were verified for their validity and constancy, thus, the first questionnaire focused on measuring the perception scope of school principals’ on the importance of using educational technology, while the second questionnaire focused on measuring the application of technology by teachers in their point of view. The descriptive analytical method was used because it was suitable for this study.
          The study sample consisted of (331) teacher from basic stage of private schools in Amman by using a random sample method.
          The study reached a number of results including: perception level of basic school principals’ of importance of educational technology in the perspective of teachers was medium. And the level of teachers using educational technology in their point of view was medium. And it was remarked positive statistically significant relation at level ( α≤ 0.05) between perception level of private basic school principals’ of educational technology importance and teachers’ level applying technology from their point of view. And no statistically significant differences at level (α≤ 0.05)for perception level of private basic school principals’ of the importance of educational technology in teachers’ perspective according to the sex variable and there are statistically significant differences depending on the variable scientific qualification for the benefit of graduate studies and no differences for variable experience.

              The aim of this study was to assess the level of awareness of the private basic school principals to the importance of education technology and its relationship with how much teachers are employing this technology from their point of view in the governorate of the capital Ammn.

              The researcher noticed that the school principal, who has the skills and competencies, can use technology within the school in a way that serves the educational process and improves its application. It is hoped that this study contributes to the development of knowledge of basic school principals and their awareness of the importance of using technology in the teaching and learning process, and contributes to raising the efficiency of school principals to deal with the existing technology they have.


              To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher developed two questionnaires and made sure they’re valid and reliable. The first questionnaire focused on measuring the level of awareness of school principals of the educational technology’s importance, while the second focused on measuring the extent of teachers’ applications of the technology from their point of view. The researcher used a descriptive and analytical correlation approach as relevant to this study.


              The study sample consisted of (331) male and female teachers from the basic stage of private schools in Amman by using stratified random sample method. The study reached several conclusions, including: that the level of awareness of basic school principals of the importance of educational technology and its applications from the teacher's point of view was average.

              It was observed that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the level of awareness (α≤ 0.05 ) of the importance of technology education for basic school principals and its applications from teachers ‘s point of view, and there is no significant differences statistically at the level of awareness of the basic schools of the importance of educational technology from the point of view (α≤0.05) of teachers according to gender. Also noted the presence of statistically significant differences depending on the academic qualifications variable for teachers with postgraduate education and no variable differences in experience.
