نظمت مؤسسة المواصلات العامة بهيئة الطرق والمواصلات مؤخرا رحلة عمرة لعدد من سائقي الحافلات العامة العاملين لديها في إمارة دبي وذلك لإتاحة الفرصة لهؤلاء السائقين لأداء مناسك العمرة بهدف رفع الرضا الوظيفي لهم.
وقال الدكتور يوسف آل، المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة المواصلات العامة بهيئة الطرق والمواصلات: تعتبر هذه المبادرة جزءا من المسؤولية المجتمعية تجاه شريحة معينة من موظفي الهيئة وهم سائقو الحافلات العامة الأمر الذي يدخل البهجة والمسرّة على قلوبهم.
وأوضح الدكتور يوسف آل علي، بأن الهيئة تكفلت بمصروفات الرحلة، إضافة إلى تعاون جهات خارجية أسهمت في إنجاح رحلة العمرة.
وقال آل علي: يأتي دعم المؤسسة انطلاقا من حرص هيئة الطرق والمواصلات دعم هذه الشريحة المهمة من موظفيها وإتاحة الفرصة لهم لتأدية هذه الشعيرة الاسلامية. وأشار إلى أن الرحلة رافقها فريق عمل يمثل عددا من موظفي المؤسسة للوقوف على راحة المعتمرين من سائقي الحافلات، وتوفير متطلباتهم مثل الإقامة الجيدة في الفندق والمواصلات والمأكل والمشرب بالإضافة توفير العلماء لتقديم النصح والإرشاد والتعريف بالمناسك.
وتخلل رحلة العمرة محاضرات توعوية وتثقيفية وزيارات لعدد من المناطق المهمة منها زيارة مسجد قباء ومنطقة شهداء أحد والمسجد ذو القبلتين وزيارة مكة المكرمة وهي عبارة عن رحلة حج عملية الى منى، وعرفات، مزدلفة، مرورا بجبل النور والختام بمدافن المعلاة وقبر السيدة خديجة. وتضمنت الرحلة ايضاً محاضرتين عن مناسك العمرة والدروس المستفادة من رحلة العمرة للشيخ مصطفى عبد العال.
وتقدم السائقون المعتمرون عند عودتهم من الأراضي المقدسة ببالغ الشكر والتقدير إلى مؤسسة المواصلات العامة لهذه المبادرة الكريمة، التي تسهم في تقوية أواصر التراحم بين المؤسسة وأبنائها من الموظفين والسائقين المجتمع الواحد، وعبروا عن سعادتهم وامتنانهم لهذه اللفتة الكريمة التي حققت أحلام العديد منهم في تأدية هذه الشعيرة الإسلامية. وأثنى السائقون المعتمرون على توجهات هيئة الطرق والمواصلات في تمكين شريحة معينة من موظفيها ومستخدميها لتأدية مناسك الحج والعمرة.
RTA Organises an Umra Journey for Public Bus Drivers

The Public Transportation Corporation (PTC) at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently organised an Umra journey for a number of shuttle bus drivers in Dubai, a gesture that aims at raising professional satisfaction of staff by helping them perform the rituals of a minor pilgrimage to Mecca.
PTC’s Chief Executive Officer *** Yousef Al Ali tapped on the initiative as part of his agency’s social corporate responsibility towards a specific group of the corporation’s employees, that is shuttle bus drivers.
“We wanted them to feel happy. We covered all the expenses in cooperation with other parties that helped to make the Umra journey a success.”
For the comfort of its Umra pilgrims, PTC dispatched an assistance team made up of some of the company’s employees, said Al Ali.
“Logistics, such as a decent hotel stay, transportation and catering services were provided as well as religious clerks, who guided the pilgrims to the performance of their rituals.”
The Umra journey included the delivery of sensitisation lectures and the visit of such sacred or historical places as Qaba’ Mosque, Uhud Battle Martyrs’ site, the two-qibla mosque and the sacred city of Mecca.
Though a voluntary minor pilgrimage, the pilgrims were escorted to other sites including Mina, Arafat Mount, Muzdalifah, through Annour Mount up till Al-Mu’allat Graveyard and Khadija’s Tomb. Visiting such places is mandatory only in the performance of the major compulsory pilgrimage known to Muslims as Hajj. While the latter must be performed once a lifetime and in a specific period of the year, Umra is a more flexible optional journey that appeals to Muslims and can be performed any time in the year.
Two lectures were given in the journey on the Umra rituals and lessons learned from Umra by Sheikh Mustafa Abdul-Al.
Thankful and grateful, the Umra performers, having come back home, highly praised PTC’s efforts in helping some of its employees to perform the Hajj and Umra rituals. The initiative, according to them, was a dream coming true. It has boosted the already strong atmosphere of compassion between the corporation and its staff community of employees and drivers.
