تطلق عادة صفة "عبقري" على أشخاص نعتقد أنهم فائقو الذكاء، أو أشخاص حققوا إنجازات عظيمة خلال حياتهم، أو بعض الأفراد الذين يتميزون في مجالات اختصاصهم. لكن، في الواقع، لا يعد العباقرة فقط أشخاصا تميّزوا عن غيرهم في بعض المجالات.
'Genius' is a word we often use to describe people whom we think are super smart. They could also be those who have made great achievements in their lives or such a contribution in their own disciplines, enough to set them apart from ordinary people like us. In fact, however, attributing the trait only to those distinguished people is too much restrictive.
